Ag Connect trade show: initial assessments

The Ag Connect trade show, which just concluded its first even in Orlando, Florida, was much-promoted, based on what our readers and others have been saying. How did it stack up?

Some attendees expressed a bit of disappointment in a thread on NewAgTalk.Com.

Owen, we appreciate the conversations and the feedback out there on AG CONNECT and the inaugural run. Much of the feedback received by producers has been very positive and they recognize the quality of the experience and the opportunity for in-depth, one on one conversations with their vendors and each other. The feedback in the thread was similar to some of the feedback received in focus groups and it all had a central theme, people want more. More education, a broader diversity of products, and a greater opportunity for producers across the globe to network and discuss the issues that matter to them most. AG CONNECT was created because here in North America we need a show that focuses on agriculture and meets the demands of the global agriculture industry. AG CONNECT will continue to focus on quality and will expand on what matters most. Look forward to AG CONNECT being a must attend event for producers based on the quality of education, quality in global networking opportunities, and quality and diversity in products displayed.
